Together for Tomorrow’s Climate: Small Steps, Big Impact
Students will have the opportunity to take a hands-on approach to visualize what hope for the environment means by learning how small actions can lead to big impacts. This session will challenge learners to use their voice and engage in activities that will lead to a path of “Rethinking plastic waste,” “Becoming energy managers and engineers,” and “Taking action against extreme weather.”

Ocean School and GreenLearning are excited to present a special edition of their plastic upcycling workshop featuring a guest speaker who is an expert on plastic pollution. In this event, participants will have the opportunity to engage with the guest speaker, learn from their expertise, and gain valuable insights into the impact of plastic pollution on the environment. ReMaking with Household Plastics
Ocean School and GreenLearning are hosting a highly-interactive plastic upcycling workshop. Participants will explore how they interact with plastics and take part in a collaborative upcycling workshop using plastics and recyclables from their school/home to find creative design-based solutions for keeping plastic out of the environment. For grades 4-8
Zero Waste Day: A Waves of Change Celebration!
Celebrate Zero Waste Day with CGE and Waves of Change partners for a free Zoom event and #Decarbonize youth as they share their actions for zero waste around the world. Students will also have the opportunity to share their current actions for sustainability in their lives. For ages 10-13.
